I am happy that I found another S2 here at RFF.
Yours looks to be the Anniversary version (mine is plain)
This camera has been bad mouthed a lot.
A few years ago I took it in a short trip and loved how pleasant it is. I really forgot the camera and only concentrated on composition.
I have a RTSIII too. Wonderful machine. But so heavy I need the monopod at least. Not ideal for street shooting.
There is a gunmetal version which is even more gorgeous.
BUT
I prefer the spot meter of the plain one!

Thanks Paul, that is a Canon-made "Lens Mount Converter N" for FD cameras. I'm sure that you know that Canon never had an FD 35mm F1.4. They did made mount converters for Pentax screwmount and Exakta lenses, and perhaps others which I do not know about. Due to its relatively thin film register, the FD mount is great for mounting other manufacturers' optics to its cameras, though I've never found any adapters to put Contax-Yashica or K-mount lenses on an FD mount.

Here's my current favorite film rig, an F4 that I actually bought from an rff member. It came with the standard finder and big battery grip, but it's now adorned with the small grip and an action finder 🙂

And here's a new toy - a doubly evil D40, and my first dSLR. I got this one specifically to put an evil sensor behind my old, old AI and pre-AI lenses. It mounts nearly every Nikkor ever made; however, it doesn't meter with any manual-focus lenses. In a way, kind of like shooting with an F with a prism finder...

My gorgeous RZ67. Sadly it wasnt being used enough to justify its keep, so I traded it for my M6ttl.

Found recently at a swap meet in near mint condition.

This is a name variant of the Nikkorex F/Ricoh Singlex sold by
Sears as the "Sears SL II"

The lens is a Nikon mount Rikenon 55/1.4 (said to really be a
Nikkor 58/1.4)

Sears also sold another camera using the same name but it was
really a Ricoh Singlex TLS with screw mount.
