I used it for some time with Contax 139Q, quite a few pictures are in my RFF Gallery. I adapted it to 1N cause its better balanced combo and flashing AF point is easier to use for manual focus.

I mainly use Rf cameras - but for something a SLR works better, macro, long lenses and 100% framing precision. I have always considered the Nikon F as being one of the great designs. A "modular" camera - add and remove things as you need it.

Coming back from japan last month. While there I decdied to top off my SLR "stash" with 3 F3's and what has to be one of the cheapest lenses ever - at least from a camera store, an early 135f3.5 for Yen 200 (roughly $2.50).
The F3 and the MD4 is another sample of brilliant industrial design. Even though it is a substantial package - it balances very well in the hand - and it has the nicest "burp" sound when you fire it.

I finally got a Hasselblad after years of contemplating.
It feels very, very strange after shooting mostly Leica M, but man, I do love that gorgeous viewfinder!!!

Ethan, this is absolutely wonderful so far - like being in the first week with a new girlfriend. You don't know, where it's heading, but it sort of feels good ;-)
I have not seen the negatives yet, just shooting a bulk package full of TriX 400 @ 3200 (hope, it comes out at least as good, as my regular TX400 @3200 135 film).
This thing was expensive, so I am hoping, once, I see the negs, I will have that "woahh! - effect" and once, I make the first prints @ 13x13 another "woahh! - effect" and hopefully, when seeing my first really big prints from it yet another …
These cameras nowhere near are feeling as smooth and refined, as a Leica M, but they do feel classy and I am after the neg in the first place.
I really dig the way, Hasselblad implemented the metering and exposure controls on these 200 series bodies. You are actually always informed about your lighting in EV, which is a lot nicer, than 35mm camera meter readings (although the Hasselblad is nowhere near as quick and intuitive to use, than the 35mm cameras - for now at least).

Sweet!!! Nice to see this rather uncommon version of a common camera & it looks to be in very good condition. Strong robust construction, as evident by the many that are still in use today by us film loyalist. The "101" was a strong contender, "way back when", when I was researching to purchase my first SLR. The Japanese camera companies that were fighting to capture the heart of consumer market, produced these remarkable cameras, glade I was there to experience it.
