I understand you Paul.
It's really a joy to shoot with and it's comparable in size to the X100.
Very nice collection Mike!

Hey! Take that to the Pentax 67 GAS thread where it belongs, so I don't have to encounter it here in my unprepared, vulnerable state. What if there had been an eBay tab open in my browser at the time?!
Seriously, beautiful 6x7 but good GAWD that lens is huge. I have a 50 mm f/3.5 Nikkor for my Bronica S2, and I thought its front element was the size of a Frisbee. That 55 makes my lens look like a dainty Perar triplet. Does it flare much?

Sorry Dave, but you know what they say, do unto others as others have done to you
I cant even tell you how much money ive sent creeping through this forum!
This 55 is a beast. It's even crazier with the hood attached! To think I used to use that thing as a walk around camera! If youre interested I have been thinking about selling the whole kit and kaboodle
Mawahahahaa....

The poor man's Leica R3. I had PJ friends back in the late 1970's, early 80's, who chided me for wasting money on Nikons when the SRT's they were using were "just as good." They were probably right!

Recently, I have been looking for one of these Minolta beauties to shoot with my Nikons.
Only reason I do not have one yet is I'm waiting for the combo of right price & condition. Looks like your's meets the condition, how was the price?
As for the "poor man's Leica R3" distinction, I would think it more accurately described as the "smart man's Leica R3".

Thanks Paul! I am really happy with the kit. I just got the 24 and 105 recently so I need to shoot a lot more with the both of them.
The strap is called the Wapiti Strap. They are indeed supremely comfortable and I use them on all of my cameras now. They're made here in the US by David Grubbs, I can't recommend them highly enough.

Thanks, Abram, that indeed does look great.
I'll order a C1 strap and see how it works.
Thanks again...also--I see you have a non-HP F3.
I really like that finder, and you have some great lenses--the 24/2.8 is supposed to be the bees knees!

A much nicer camera then I expected when I bought it (two weeks ago). Just have to get some of those fantastic creative expansion cards....

I didn't think I'd be enjoying this Edixa for so long, but something keeps me from putting it away. I think it's probably the bright viewfinder and the slightly higher than usual magnification. In most other respects the camera is pretty crude and clunky, but it works well.
