Minolta made great glass. No wonder they hooked up with Leitz.

^^Because it's a black dial, that's an early SRT-101. A true classic.

NICE. :p

A couple of my misfits: a Zeiss Ikon Contaflex II with Teleskop 1.7x, and a Miranda G with 28/50/135 lenses, T-Mount (?) screw-thread adapter, flash bracket, meter, prism, critical focus prism, and a waist-level finder.

Finally attached a pic of my Pentax K2. Its a bit rubbish quality ex-Instagram and mobile phone so apologies. Am currently wrestling with some problems trying to fix the 50mm f1.2 lens so any help would be greatly appreciated! Info seem very hard to come by though.

It it rare? I don't know myself. I found it at a thrift store and then started stumbling on all of the other bits here and there. It does seem to be a highly adaptable camera.

I love mine:

Does it allow open wide metering with the old lenses?

However, few last purchases:

The chrome G is an uncommon camera, but by no means rare. However the black ones really are hard to find, you might see on on ebay maybe only once a year or less.

i personally use a normal silver PX625, never had problems with it.

What a beautiful lens !

I agree, and I seek out those old MC ones with scalloped-metal focus grips rather than rubber. The 58/1.4 is beautiful, and great performance for the price. I'm very happy with mine, other than its slightly greater proclivity than a 50 to back you into a corner as you're trying to fit something in frame. Although the f/1.2 ones look impressive and are famous, I can't justify spending 10x as much (or something like that) for one-half stop more speed. (I think I got my 58/14 for about USD 30.)

Sitting in the back of the cupboard for far too many years. My well worn but fully operational Yashica FR with ML 50 1.4.

1.3 kilo's of brass, glass and aluminum 'man camera'. Lacking a war zone I'll take it with me to a demolition site tomorrow and run a roll through it between wheel barrow loads.

I had one of these too. I liked the shutter button, but i found the meter button on the back of the camera difficult to get used to.
