Show us your SLR ..... WHAT?

That thing certainly has some stories to tell!
I've used Nikons & Leica for decades and never put anywhere near that much wear on them. Nikon finishes are virtually bullet proof. When I saw that one for $46....I couldn't resist.... & the glass is in pretty clean shape. Indeed the stories & the miles.....

Here's two pics of my Nikon FM2n. The one on the top is from a "free" kodak easyshare m522 with its 1/2.3" ccd and 14mp (Jan 2011) and the one below it is from a very recently bought (from a market stall) fujifilm finepix S5800 with its 1/2.5" ccd and 8mp (July 2007). :

You may notice that the hotshoe is a bit slanted. I presume the camera has been dropped on the head at some point, but I prefer to think she's just wearing it at a "jaunty angle" to show how "cool" she is. lol.

Here's a pic of my Mamiya M645 1000S, bought on a whim becuase I'd wanted one from about the time it was introduced. Now I have three 120 inserts with cases, a 45mm S and a 150mm (should be an S) lenses. Not taken with either previously mentioned or shown caneras:

I still can't get used* to posting photos that aren't clickable thumbnails.

*+= correcyed spelling, lol.

For me, it's all about the analog controls on the F4. Intuitive manual control when you wanted it, full automation when you didn't. Genius!
I think, people need to use the F4 for some time in order to appreciate it. At first it feels like a big heavy camera with relatively slow AF.
I can say that the F4 is the only camera I use all these years and I never forgot the wrong settings on (I.e. shoot half a film before realising I have the exp. compensation on +1).
