Thank Lynn. No tripod. Just tried to keep the camera level, not change any settings, and to move as little as possible between the two shots.
Sometimes the images go together very easily and seamlessly. Other times I have to avoid having a straight vertical line where the two images join, so I might merge each element separately. Like the sky at one point, the mountains and trees another, the grass field at a different point and the fence at yet a different one. I think I did the latter in this case because the fence posts showed some problems as a result of the camera not pivoting exactly around the optical center of the lens when the two images were made.
Trust me, you’d never find ME in that position - even if it wasn’t on 4 small wheels 🙂.
I really love the camera/lens. I wanted something small and light, and this fits the bill perfectly - no excuse to leave a camera at home. I ended up getting a cheap Series V holder and a few filters.
I really need to get a proper CLA (although dealer said it had one this year). Intermittent light leak and it desperately needs a new BS mirror - although the blue gel makes it usable.
