Show your old Crusty Billingham

Somewhat inspired by this thread I went and organised all my Billingham camera bags (not the multiple other brands).

I am almost mortified to report that over the last 20 odd years I seem to have amassed around 14 Billingham bags, with multiples of some models. With recent price increases and our worthless AUD, I simply couldn’t afford to buy them again now. Yes, I am a little ashamed.

Well, you did not spend it on strong drink, black cigars and loose women. I'd count that as a plus. After all, you still have the bags. ;o_)

I’m in the same position. My only shame is the electric orange Hadley pro. What was I thinking?

My first Hadley (from when they only made one), must be nearly 35 yrs old,
Was a daily carrier and travelled the World until the rubber waterproof layer disintegrated to dust
My similar aged 555 is suffering the same fate
With the padded cotton insert these conformed to body shape so much better than the later and seem to wear better as well

You really ought to send photos of both bags to Billingham. They would almost certainly appreciate them and may even use them in a blog or similar. You could even get a ‘gift’ from the experience …
