I LOVE the tonality and contrast you're getting with the Caffenol. You and Ezzie's coffee-developed films are so wonderful; much better than any result I've ever gotten.

Nothing wrong with looking 'modern' in my humble opinion, unless you actually want a 'retro' look.
I shoot colour in my vintage folders (and other types). Twice my pictures of local pubs, one taken with a 6x6 folder (Ensign Autorange 220), and one with a 6x9 folder (Bessa Rangefinder), were downloaded from Flickr and used in newspaper advertisements.

Thanks very much. It definitely took a bit of experimenting to get the Caffenol dialed in, but once I settled into FP4+ and HP5+ as my B&W films, it got easier; they both seem to respond quite well to it.

That's great Mike - how did you balance the exposure? It looks like there would be a lot of contrast between the indoor lighting and external ambient

Thanks Johnnyrod,
I wasn't using a meter, and it was fairly dark. Exposure was probably 1/30 and wide open and hope it was enough. Tweaked the curve in darkTable. The neg has good detail in the bricks, the lights are completely blown out, which I expected.

Thanks Mike. I find those sorts of pictures challenging and do little or no PP. Interesting to see how much you've pulled back from the highlights, considering.

Thanks very much , like a lot or even most of us on here I have over the years accumulated a lot of cameras . I do enjoy playing with them but I could cut them down a bit but this camera would be one of the very last to go , thanks for the nice compliments.

Dig, I have one digital, cause I get lazy and sometimes handy...
But the cameras I use most and love are the old folders.
I have but three and try to use all of them but tend to work the Certo6 and an old Pearl II with 3.5 lens...all f8 tripod BW shots.
