Yukio - Those are both great photos! The colors in with the Super Speedex and Solinar really have great depth. The lighting with the Super Baldax is just wonderful. Thanks for sharing them.

Mikeong - how do you like your Moskva? I have one that I have only used once, and wan't terribly pleased with.

The Ansco shot was taken with Portra 400 (VC, I think). This was the first color roll that I had put through it and I was surprised by the clarity. The uneven tones in the sky are probably due to my sloppy processing.

Could just be dust in your calibration area. I frequently have the same problem. Clean the opaque window in the holder and also the glass platten very well and see if it goes away.

I rarely use it, mostly for portraits. The RF is quite small for me, I don't mind the shutter release button at the left side of the body. I'm also satisfied with the lens, nice bokeh.
 
Got my Moskva 5 front standard straightened and the rangefinder almost aligned. Even managed to get it back together without killing the bellows.

Unfortunately its been relatively overcast; I ended up pushing 400 speed film to 1600 and was still only shooting around f/5.6-8.

This camera is incredibly frustrating. I love the compact size. I love the reactions I get while shooting with it. The lens is still softer than I was hoping though and I still haven't figured out how to shoot it without getting some camera shake (even at 1/100th). Like someone else here said at one point, I'm having hard time justifying using it over the Retina IIIc as much as I like the potential of the larger negatives. The main advantage is the improved tonality and smaller grain but I don't know if that is worth it. I'm still holding out in hopes I can improve I have a feeling that I want this particular camera to be something it isn't.

Brian Legge - how did you straighten your lens standard. Mine seems not to pop into place, even when I move it to what seems parallel. Sounds like you had to remove the bellows? That sounds scary. You have some nice shots anyway. I thought the first was particularly interesting, with both people looking right at you.

Visiting Paris and had my folder out, loaded with Tri-x and vaguely set-up for the light and range when this immaculate Citroen DS pulled out into the Vendome. I managed to pull off a shot.

This thread is inspiring me to get my Ikonta C out. But then again, it's so damn heavy and I can barely leave the house these days. Old glories it'll have to be.
