I rehabed the Special lens and shutter before recently selling this great camera on a well known international auction site and was astounded by the results.
I don't do digital except with an old Sony, that uses a floppy, to post on the auction site. I shot this famous building in Fort Worth as a test. I scanned the WalMart pic on my $49.95 all-in-one scanner-printer-copier. I viewed the neg under my Nikon dissecting microscope. I'll be damned if I couldn't see detail in the toenail of the near angel!
I'll never be convinced that the European lenses of the day were any better!

Beautiful picture! And re Kodak lenses, on this side of the pond I've had excellent results from a (Six-20 A) Anastar
.
... and the (picture of) the Monitor itself.

All of the Perkeo love around lead me on a bit of a Perkeo/Color Skopar chase. I'm not the best scale focus person but my first roll made me a believer in this lens even though the camera itself needs a bunch of work.

Lots and lots of beautiful photos in this thread. Literiter showed a couple of jaw-droppers but there are lots of extraordinary photos here. Please, do continue uploading them!

Seigfried Farnon would have walked through that very gate I'd say.
May we have a picture of the camera? Curious to see it.

My first roll...Light leaks anyone?
Who needs a Holga?
I actually rather like the effect.
Serendipitous.

The Kodak lenses, among them Tessar-Heliar designs, 1930-1960, had a good reputation. If a picture appears here it is made with a Monitor 620 in Pisa several years back. Tri-X most likely, developed in Rodinal 1:50
