And the grain in that shot tells us why we like roll film folders, so we well not complain that you posted a 35mm shot in the 120 forum.

It's not a rangefinder, it's scale focus, but I just got my hands on a Zeiss Ikonta 521 A with a Tessar 75mm f3.5. Great camera, unbelievably compact for medium format, huge finder, and I like the 4,5 x 6 cm image proportions.Here it is:

Not a rangefinder, but a folder, a Franka Rolfix II with 105mm Rodenstock-Trinar lens.
Shot with an expired roll of Fujicolor Pro400H film metered (on hand held meter) at 320ISO.

Recently discovered the joys of MF folders. This is a couple I found cuddled up for the sunrise. Shot with a Balda Super Baldax with a Radionar f/2.9 and Ektar 100.

Sometimes the script embossed into the leather on these bodies looks like an S, when it's really a B. I have had two or three of these Balda made camera, and with that Radionar fast lens, it makes a formidable and capable 6 square folder.
Very nice image... great camera. I can tell you from experience, when you decide you've had your fling with folders and you sell it..... YOU WILL MISS IT?
The details in the clouds and the details in the surf are the proof of the excellence of this lens/film combo.

Thanks Kuzano. That must have been a typo on my part as I am well aware of what the model is. It's a fabulous little folder. My only slight issue is the occasional hang-up with the double exposure shutter lock not always engaging when you advance the film. It's easy to work around that though. I imagine if I were to sell it, I would miss it, much the same way that I did when I sold my Rolleiflex a few years ago. Luckily I just got another one a couple of weeks ago so all is right with the world again 🙂

Here are a few from my Zeiss Ikonta 523/16 with a 7.5 cm f3.5 Tessar. Shot on Ektar 100, guessing on exposure. I can't say for sure, but I suspect the viewfinder shows a little more than what shows up on the film. I noticed a few of my shots didn't work, and realized it was because certain parts of the image were cut off from how I framed it! Oh well, still a great lens for such a portable MF camera.
These "Little Free Libraries" have been popping up all over Madison. Just like their name, you are free to take a book, leave a book, and there's no obligation to return. People have put them in front of their houses and businesses really love seeing the variety that comes in.

Noll, the framing problem with viewfinder cameras is one of the reasons we always planned on cropping in the old days. Frame a little more than you want then crop to the exact image you had in mind. Luckily 120 film gives you an image that is still going to look great even after rather severe cropping.
