I'm always interested to see the perfectly usable, good pictures as a final result, from a less-than-perfect lens.
*(please show the "damaged" lens that took it.)
If I happen to come across similar "bargains" for sale in the monthly swap meet that I visit now and then
(Second Sunday Camera show, in NJ),
that it will be fine for me to use/play with,
and if they are asking only a nominal price, I should buy, use and post here.

I'll never stress about dustmotes or chips on my lenses again... great thread for the worriers amongst us.
