Shutter lock on Bessa R4M?

Just one quick question to owners of the R4M:

Does the camera have a shutter lock similar to the Bessa-L or do I run into the same problem like with the Bessa-R that the shutter button may be pressed constantly when using a mini-softrelease and throwing the camera in my back. I think it is of no use illuminating the inside of my bag with the exposure meter's LEDs.

If the meter does only work when the shutter is cocked I can live with that. The R will start metering anyway as soon as the shutter release button is pressed.

The R4A has got a lock - it's a thing at the front of the shutter release surround that you slide to the side. You can see it in this photo.

But the R4M doesn't appear to have one.

ok, then...no lock on the r4m.

strange to have it on one and not the other.

Presumably it disconnects from the battery on the R4A to stop the whole camera shutting down. On the R4M only the meter wouldn't work.

no lock on the 4m *but* the lightmeter will not turn on without the shutter being cocked.
