Shutter release socket size

Maybe I've been trying to Google with all the wrong search terms, but I'm looking for the specifications of the standard shutter release socket thread. The idea is to superglue/epoxy an equivalent nut with a tapered thread onto a Holga.

Can anyone help?

Is there just one "standard"? I found last week that my cable release won't fit into my Ansco Speedex B2 (which hasn't been mangled but has too large a hole for the release).
