Shuttleworth this weekend.

I went to the first Uncovered, last December, and it was great - if very cold! September, and combined with flying too, looks ideal. If only I wasn't doing other things...

It's a good place to camera-spot too, felt my first Leica at Old Warden care of someone with a IIIf (thank you, whoever you were!), and usually some interesting bits of kit in use. Sadly my 1911 Kodak won't be there this year, but hopefully soon.

Have a great day, hope some more RFF'ers meet you.

Adrian

Hi,

I'd assumed, judging by the number of elderly cameras you see in use, that a lot of us went there. Perhaps a few more will after seeing this.

I love Shuttleworth, and have been a few times with a camera. Sadly, I've never been on a flying day. This weekend is another I'll miss, as I'm camping in Sussex.

Hi,

You've never been on a flying day! Look what you might be missing:

Non flying days are great but seeing the things in the air is just gob smacking. And what's in the car park is worth a look too.

I've not been able to go partly because my son used to live very near there with his mum and her boyfriend, and he is terrified of going near the place, sadly.

Shame, as Duxford is just down the road, too.
