It seems to be true, Bill. Sports Illustrated has laid off their last remaining staff photographers. Of course, they can continue to shoot for the magazine . . . under altered conditions.

Modern times. But, SI has never had more than a handful of staff photographers. Almost all of their content has come from freelancers or agencies for years.
