Hi guys

I've just got back from Sicily. I had a great time, taking a group of 40 kids from school with me. They were superb and got a lot out of the (geography) trip.

Among other things, we visited Etna, Alcantara Gorge, Taormina, Vulcano, Stromboli... the list goes on. What a great place to explore!!

Very *nice* set here !!

I imagine as soon as the Hummer market sees that Mercedes tank, we will see lots of them on the roads (though I hope not).

Anyway . . . lovely set of pictures.

Oh yes, many of those were my favorites too. I hope to someday make it to Sicily, and visit my grandfathers hometown. I especially liked the rock formation shots. Great photos, Chris.

Hi all

I don't know if you saw my previous thread of Sicily pictures, but I went back this year (school trip) and took some more. It was interesting being back and shooting different things; I certainly took less overall but I felt less pressured to capture the place having done it before. It was also the first proper comparative test between my old lens (Voigtlander 28mm Ultron) and the new one (CV 35 1.4 Nokton)

I have been on those islands many years ago with my girlfriend. We were there in September one year. The ferry from Naples dropped us on island of Stromboli when it was still dark. When daylight broke my girlfriend was surprised that we were on an active volcano.
