Nikon F6, Sigma Art 50 1.4, Fuji C200.

I love Fuji C200 and especially love that many regard it with disdain as a throw away film. Keeps it cheap for me!

(Scanned with a Nikon D850, micro Nikkor 60 2.8 in front of a light pad)

Focus is quick, handling is fine as the F6 is a big, fat camera. I had used the Sigma dock to calibrate the lens to my D850, but this knocked the focus off on the F6. It misses at mid distance.
So looks like I will have to reset the lens, and use the in camera AF fine tune settings on the D850 to calibrate it for that camera so that the lens will focus fine (hopefully) on the F6.

That lens has received some serious accolades as have all the Art lenses. Very nice.

I have the non Art version and use it my SD1M and like that too.

interesting to see film photos made with Art lenses.

Yeah it's weird when I did an online search next to nothing comes up. So I figured I'd check it out myself to see how it would do as I already had the lens for my D850.

I completely agree that Fujifilm C200 is an excellent film with an outstanding price-performance ratio.
Too much photographers overlook it.

I also completely agree that the latest high-quality lenses from Sigma, Zeiss and Nikon deliver outstanding results on film. You get a much better performance on film with these new lenses compared to older lenses.

But Huss, your 'scan' is quite bad unfortunately.

Well, my Nikon F6 was missing focus because it broke. I had babied this pro level camera, never dropped, dinged, hit. Not a mark on it. So much for that.
It's getting a B2 repair from Nikon LA as we speak. "Major parts being repaired and replaced".
It better be perfect with the Sigma after this $240 repair!

Shoulda stuck to my Nikon F2 and Zeiss lenses...

Huss, I've an F6 that I bought here on RFF. I'm also on Fred Miranda and asked the question about Sigma Art lenses on the F6 and go this response about using Sigma Art 85 or 135 on it:

"Neither offer aperture control on the F6, as they are E type lenses with electronic apertures.

No film bodies support E type lenses."

Is that true from your experience with your 50? I'd also be using whichever one I got on my D500.
