I'm currently using the DPI and GRD2 for discrete low light work with screen off, MF mode and silent shutter- both handle very different - the GRD2 is faster with its RAW writing time and the 1600 and 800 ISO's are usable for me as i'm working in b/w and converting using TrueGrain. The DPI produces richer files to work with, manual focus setting easier with the dial, battery life is shorter than GRD2 ( i have 4 DPI batteries)
the SPP RAW converter is slow to use on my G4 mac but certainly workable. Both are more discrete than my Leica M's for this current project. DPI write time is slightly faster with a 2GB card than a 4 or 8GB. I tend to use the larger sizes on the GRD2. Macro mode on the GRD2 is very useful. I'm awaiting delivery of the Sigma close up lens which will certainly open up more possibilities.
Bottom line: i can work with both together - producing different results within the same body of work.
