Sigma DP2 Merrill software download to Mac

Hi folks,
I just received a nice used DP2 Merrill and am not able to install Sigma's PhotoPro5.5.3 download on my Mac OS 10.14 Mojave… If I double click the download file the Mac tells me there is no application to open it.

I have Sigma Photo Pro 4.2 installed that I use for the original DP1, but it apparently doesn't recognize the Sigma X3F files from the DP2 Merrill.

Sigma tech support appears to be closed for the weekend.

Anyone able to offer some help?

PhotoPro 6 was released a while ago- I think that would be what you want. You can download from Sigma's website. I am running it on my Mac and same camera. IIRC, Iridient Developer also works with those files.

I am running SPP v6 something or other, on a Mac, Mojave, no problems. There is also a Photoshop plug-in available from Sigma, not many development options,but it works OK.

It seems a little clunkier than the PP 4, but maybe I just need to get used to it.
