Smart campaign for them (I believe you're referring to the flash intro screen and the messaging). Some of their customers (like me) could put up nice flash portrayals of our discontent over the ergonomics, bad menus and snail like focus.
That said, I love the pics that the DPs take, you just have to work hard to get them!

Back when the DP1 came out I lusted after one 'till I heard about the user discontent. Now that the better DP2 & DP2S (I still don't know what the difference is) I kind of lust after one, but still hear the discontent with the camera.
So I continue to be contented with my M8.

Indeed. I too suffer for my art by using an M8, but I'm not necessarily getting any better at photography.
Oh how I do miss film (I have to shoot digital for school & some work, so that's how it is.)
