Infinity is almost correct. It focuses maybe a hair past infinity at the stop. Reprinting and moving the lens 0.1mm closer to the sensor.
Yes! I bought a couple of dead Contax Ts years ago.Is that the 38mm Sonnar from the Contax T??? Wow.
Thanks! I just responded to your other thread but to say it again... the Sigma made for mirrorless lenses (DG DN) are awesome! Just very very good glass, built well and the I series is really reasonably priced new and you can typically find them used at half the cost of new.Gorgeous images, wow!
Now here I am with a similar but not quite the same thought (is that a tangent?) on this.
This is of great interest to me, as I'm considering a Leica CL with Sigma lenses as a lighter kit to carry around in my Asia travels.
In fact I have just now started a new thread about this. And then went exploring in RFF, found this, and here I am.
Your images remind me of eastern Canada, where I grew up. New Brunswick and New England have so many similarities.
If you can do such beautiful work with Sigma lenses, all the possibilities for me with a CL and two or three Sigmas...
To say it again, congratulations of such wonderful imagery. Well worth posting, also viewing. Kudos to you!
