And if it's anything like the other lenses in their Art series it will be an absolute gem. Their 50mm f1.4 Art has received rave reviews since it's release about a year ago and has been touted as one of the finest 50mm DSLR/SLR lens available.

This quirky little company has released some seriously good optics over the last couple of years. :)

If I get into astrophotography, this would be great. Fast and wide with great edge performance would be nice. Until then, I'm quite happy with the tiny Voigtlander 28mm.

Look forward to read some reviews on the 24mm.
The 50 1.4 is spectacular, i have had mine for a couple of months now and it is by far the best prime i have ever had.
The 35 1.4 should be a fine lens too.

Sounds great... I tried searching for examples through Google.

Still like anything Sigma do it should be a good one.

....and with their USB dock focusing system no one can complain about front/back focusing issues. This will be a winner for Sigma.

After years of frustration with the production inconsistencies of Sigma lenses, I am now seriously on the Sigma ART series bandwagon. I will definitely keep an eye out for reviews of this lens.
