Significant Auction

Well, there is a bunch of old camera stuff; but, a lot of it looks pretty forlorn. Is there really a collectors market for this old stuff anymore?

"This discussion is a perfect illustration of what I constantly tell my wife - you can never have enough cameras, lenses, guns, or golf clubs - oh, and diamonds, according to her! - Texsport"

I like that, but for me substitute watches for golf clubs. A few years ago (OK, decades) I came home with another new Omega watch. She ranted and raved for a week. Finally couldn't take it no more. I said I would take it back - and we would take her diamond rings to the jewelers store and sell them too. Never again has she complained about my "collections".

Most cameras sold cheap, see the set of three Contax's for 400E and several Leicas for less than that. Some exotic, rare stuff brought good money. There will always be a few that want the rare. Supply and demand dictates it will be expensive. But if you have just a few, that want the common, the prices are going to be cheap.
