Filmotec is one of the smallest BW film manufacturers! Less than 20 people are working there.
They don't have an own coating machine! They only can do emulsions by themselves. Curently coating of their films is done by Ilford.
And Ilford knows and misuses its market power. They have forbidden Filmotec to cooperate with some other companies.

Just curious where this information comes from. ORWO (Filmotec) primarily services the motion picture community, so they are making most products in 400-2000ft rolls, also, 35mm motion picture cameras require different sprocket holes than still cameras (though still cameras are compatible with both types). Is Ilford really set up to do all that or is it just the coating then cutting, spooling and perforating done at ORWO?
