silent motor wind patent expires 2006

In this old article by Davidde Stella (http://web.archive.org/web/20040215010112/http://www.davidde.com/articles/hexarrf2.html), he mentions that the patent for the silent motor wind expires in 2006. You know what I'm thinking?
