Silver finish

I'm thinking of getting am R2M to go with my R4A as a second body. To make the differentiation easier when grabbing a body out of the bag, I was thinking of getting the second body in silver rather than black. As this is not a true chrome finish, I was wondering if anyone has experience with the quality and durability of this finish?

I've had my Bessa R for 21/2 yrs.and use it alot,still has all it's paint.I'm not overly rough though.They are precision instruments..............Robin
