Anyone got silver lens for the black-coloured RD1s?
Anyone got a picture of an RD1s with silver lenses? I am somehow attracted to silver lenses but wonder if it looks wield on an RD1s.
Thanks

Frankly, I do not find silver lenses on a black RD1s bad at all. I find it nice and breaks the black uniformity.
Thanks for posting the pics and I notice Noimmunity actually took the effort to take the pictures of his cam with silver lenses just to illustrate...Thanks and very grateful.

Independent from aesthetical aspects.
You can notice that at Voigtländer and Zeiss black and chrome lenses have the same weight. As it is impossible to black-chrome or black-anodizise brass or to chrome aluminium you can guess that the black lenses are paint black. I don’t know if "brassing" at heavy use is a phenomenon at VC/Zeiss lenses but the chrome models are more sure from that fact.

Thanks
Thanks
Good point.
No wonder even when silver lense are grazed, you don't see what's underneath, unless a black lens.

Thanks Steve. Great photos you have in your gallery. Am encouraged that one can still use tele lenses on the RD1, as you have in your gallery.
How do you focus?

Hi, thanks! Any successful 135 shots have been the result of a lot of reshooting, or just luck. It's mostly been failure, sadly, even with eyepiece magnifiers.
