I teach and my students are between the ages of 9-12. I had my IIIf sitting on my desk one day when I brought it to work. "Can that thing even take pictures???" That said they were utterly fascinated on how it worked to make pictures. Like shadowfox wrote earlier "People love vintage stuff. Film is now vintage, go spread the goodness." Film is now an alternative process rather than the declining mainstream one it was a few years ago. Those who are interested will do it. And there are lots of us. Give these kids a few years and some of them will come to film.
