Silverfast 8 - any recommended tutorials

Ive decided to puy a plustek 8100 scanner and it seems it comes bundled with Silverfast 8 and from what ive researched its usability seems to be a nightmare for some.

So im hoping for those that have cracked Silverfast and like it, if you know of any tutorials, especially concerning scanning colour negatives that are helpful I would really appreciate it if you passed them on.

And any other tips welcomed too.

This is one from YouTube. There are several outlining different features of the program and from what I can tell they are pretty well put together.

I probably should also point out that Plustek in the US has an excellent service response. I was experiencing a few problems and they were very quick to help, with both the scanner and the Silverfast software.
