I'm trying to get a handle on the correct way to scan slides using Silverfast. If you aren't scanning negatives, the two options are to scan Positives or Kodachrome. I've been scanning Kodachrome slides on the Kodachrome setting with some success (although the underexposed slides are difficult to get anything from). However, the slides that are Fujifilm, Agfachrome or Agfacolor, all seem to have a very blue cast to them when scanned on the Kodachrome or Positive setting. Any wisdom would be appreciated. Is there a technical reason for this problem? Is it something I'll just need to adjust for in post processing? I've bought Lightroom, but haven't got into yet. Thanks in advance.
