Simple DIY darkroom timer?

I hardly see offers like this in Europe. Should have been more specific, I mean enlarger timers. Of course I can time it with the phone or whatever and switch it off again, but it's very inconvenient, especially if d&b is involved.

I have a GraLab for timing print processing. There are many Time-o-lites available. I use one of those to control the floodlight for contact printing w Azo.

Although they've got bells and whistles, a digital enlarging timer like the Zone VI, Beseler & others, are not absolutely necessary.
 
I have a Hauck MSA II. Very good, but it is older than it looks. I had to replace my previous Hauck because that one became very erratic.

My MSA II says "Made in Western Germany" so it is over thirty years old. For a mechanical clock not old, but electronics 30 years old become unreliable.

For split grade printing a clock with a memory is absolutely necessary however.

That one's listed as not working. But yeah I might actually consider paying customs and shipping for one from North America or Japan because the European market isn't great.
Erik, thanks for the tip on the Hauck. Looking for a specific model is easier, part of my problem is that in German, there's no single snappy term for the device or if there is, most people don't know it.
Metronome should work great for really short times, but I don't always get those...
 
Alright I've realized eBay has a category for dr timers, that helps a lot! I usually just search... The market is looking better now.
