Leica GAS cannot be cured thru popping CV pills! ;)

I think the 75 cron would have the same character as the 35 cron ASPH which I like very much. I'm still slowly saving up for it. At the rate I'm going, probably in ten years time. :(

I feel a tinge of sadness in your reply. Bet after a week you would want to comfort yourself with a M4. ;)

Cheer up Justin. Before you'd know it, you'd be telling others stories about your life in NS. I look back at my 2 years in the Army as some of the most enjoyable times in my adult life.

On another topic, I have some Oem M body and rear caps if anyone wants. I know Justin was asking for them. Should be arriving mid Sept. I think they will be about $5 each. Only got a couple of extra, the others are for myself, so first come first served.

Yep, Adelphi, & thanks for showing me around Glenn. Another couple of pics-
(1) made with collapsible 'cron. Sorry about the colour- my inability to correct for mixed lighting in PS. (2) 28 Skopar again. Slight blue cast ? Compared to new Leica glass the VC seems a little muddy, especially when underexposed, as in this pic.

The results from your collapsible cron seems nice. I had one before and the contrast was very very low due to front element "scratches". Guess yours should be pristine. Liked it's character but nice samples are way too ex.

The front coating is quite soft as you know. Was quite lucky to get one which is OK. I've got another older one (thorium glass) which has been sent off for polishing & recoating cos the "cleaning marks" looked more like someone had taken steel wool to the lens. if I get back into Tri-X the low contrast should be a plus. But not ready to go down that road yet...

All the best to you! You will love it as I have. I still keep in touch with a couple of my NS mates. Just remember to watch out for accidents as I saw and encountered quite a few myself.

I'd have a look see, I don't actually know how many I need since my place is in a mess at the moment and the cameras are all over the place. Should have a clearer picture in 2 weeks when the studio is up and everything finds its proper place.

I'm a bessa-r user from Singapore. I'm actually from Indonesia but have been staying in Singapore all my life so Singapore is where I call home.

Quite new to rangefinders but really growing to love it now!! :p

I also love bnw but still need loads of improvement..

Btw, suzums, I really love your bnw gallery!! and nickchew, the pictures of your daughter are great too!! :p

Welcome to the club bja! It is a tradition here to introduce yourself as it is such a small community! Do join us when we have a meet up, which is normally in the Peninsula area. By the way, what lens are you using with your Bessa R? How about posting your favourite Bessa R photo? :)
 
Hee so sorry.. forgot to mention my name.. I'm Jesiee (yes this is the correct spelling).. hhmm as for which part of singapore I guess that'd be around bukit timah area?

I use a Skopar 35mm f2.5, Canon 50mm f1.4 and just got a Hector 135 f4.5 (but haven't really tested it yet :p )

hhmmmm not sure abt my favourite picture yet... coz still need improvements but i do have some pics that I like in my gallery :) Please feel free to browse here and comments are more than welcome as well..

David, haha I know this is slightly late but I like the photos from the 28 Skopar. The low handheld speeds looks great! LOL I can still remember how bright the viewfinder was! :D
 
I like Fisherman Chasing Fish best. Like the tone. How do you like your Canon 50mm/1.4? Do you use your 50mm more or the 35mm? Do take a look at my gallery. I have a locked Pbase gallery and the password is seance.
