I have a Acer Ferrari laptop with 1680 pixel horizontal resolution, wide screen. This is very cool for photoshop as the on screen resolution is about 130dpi. I find that your "afterdark -VBP354++" is perfect for such fine resolution. Before you added it I needed a magnifying glass.

Font is still too small to be comfortable foe me , even with VBP 354+

- Test options (italic/bold/underline, etc.) don't work at all. Is there something I'm not getting about the new setup? The old one worked "a treat".

Not working in Windows XP with Firefox 1.5.0.4 either. Neither are smilies, for that matter.

Not that I mind, but it is surprising.
