Onerious is the closest that I will post, on a public forum, as to what we actually called the many rules and regulations that had nothing to do with us producing a quality item, on time, under budget, while working in a safe and morally just environment. Onerious may not be in the dictionary, but I bet that I am not the only one that has ever worked for the "Man" and as a result they have their own definition for the term! :bang:

On the subject of typos (off-topic I know) it's a bit of an old chestnut which you may have seen before but...

On the subject of typos and how we read what we expect to see, my husband was a journalist on a football (soccer magazine) a few years ago and one of his colleagues wrote a three page spread about a famous footballer which, before it went to the printers, was read by all of the people in the office - let's say six or seven people. It wasn't until it was at the printers that someone spotted that they'd got his first name wrong the whole way through the article.
