Size of old flash shoe screws

This is not really about a rangefinder camera but about an old Dejur D1. The flash shoe has three screws in it; two are flush with the surface and the third--which is missing in mine--sticks up a bit. Does anyone know what size screws are used--I'm hoping they may have been standard back then, or where I could find a replacement? the attached photos are from D3s, but should be the same.

It could be a Fillister head, chrome plated. It may also have been a specialty screw. Take one of the others out and see if it screws into the empty thread. If so it is the same thread. A local industrial fastener place could probably identify what thread it is. After that you have to find a screw of that thread with the proper head. You might also fabricate one out of stainless if you or a friend has access to a lathe and a mill with a slitting saw. Good Luck, Joe

I would remove one and use my thread gauge. Sorry, but that is a standard tool on my bench. I have one for metric and one for USA

It LOOKS to be a 2.0 mm flat head chrome plated

My guess would be either 1.7 or 2.0mm. I think the Japanese may have used 1.6 instead of 1.7, but they are so close you can probably interchange between the two.
