Even better, I was going to look at the 7-14mm that is going to be shipped next year to cover the wide end since even my 21mm lens is effectively a 42mm lens.
If I can get that lens I have the following coverage.
14-24mm, 28-90mm, 42mm, 50mm, 70mm, 100mm and 180mm. That would be quite good. I figure that a camera that has 10mp is enough for me since with up rez software like Genuine Fractals I can print without problems 3 times the size without a downside.
If we can get real clear noise free iso 1600 we can push it with noise control software like noise ninja to take most indoors shots without flash handheld as long as we have a F2.0 lens.
Even better results if the camera has image stabilization on board since none of our legacy M mount lenses need in lens electronics to benefit from the in camera stabilization.
F2.0 lens + no mirror vibrating + clean iso 1600 + in camera image stabilization = Images in low light
