Skopar 35/2,5 Classic vs Pancake Optics

Hi, I plan on buying one of these for my "new" (chrome) M2, but I wonder what the differences are?

Classic: 1cm longer, screw mount, chrome + black
Pan: short, V2 M mount, black

But what about the optics?

I went for the classic skopar on my M6 with an M mount adapter. Simply on the basis of it being slightly cheaper. Most RF lenses are tiny compared to SLR lenses so I'm not too concerned about the size, though I have to say the classic is small yet large enough to focus easily and quickly.
