Does anyone know how readily available slide film such as Velvia, Provia, etc are in Istanbul?

I've heard that a place called Pamuk Ticarat carries E6 film. Has anyone seen how readily available it is?

Also is there a good lab that will process E6? Does Pamuk Ticarat process?

Thanks

Should Be Available.

Should Be Available.

I spent 10 days in Istanbul in late March. My daughter and I stayed in the old city area near the Blue Mosque. It turns out to be close to most of the photo shops. I was actually amazed at the variety of film available (Kodak, Fuji, Ilford) in almost any size.

You might send a PM to semrich as he lives in Istanbul and is a dedicated film user.

The major photo stores are in the Şirkeci district on the European side next to the railway station. If you walk from the railway station up towards Sultanahmet you can't miss them.

Yes and yes (he sends it out). Pamuk is pretty much the only place to buy film from. He can also have it scanned if you like.

Here's the location. Don't trust google maps for Istanbul:
Ankara Caddesi.No:169 Atabay Merkez İş Hanı Kat:1 No:101 Sirkeci - İSTANBUL Tel: +90 (212) 519 04 40

If you would like precise directions pm me. His shop is not on the street and if you're not familiar with that part of town you can pass it by very easily.
