I wonder if its possible to shoot slides on this camera? Exposure steps of 1EV only mekes me think it is not so easy. Its quite impissible to set aperiture 1/2EV on Industar 61 lens due tu blody "clicks". And shutter timing are not always perfect (i admitt that i didn't check them in my camera - although negaticves seem ok).
If anyone made slides on FED 5B please share yours ecperiences. I'm thinking of buing roll of Sensia 100 and give it a try, but if its not worth it please write.

I had no problems and Sensia was my film too. All came out perfect, 1/2EV are possible, you just have to be careful.

Hi,
I always shot a lot of slide film with my SLR,but never felt confident enough to use it with my Fed 2 and Fed 4.I suppose by bracketting on either side of the suggested exposure it could be ok.If it was a success imagine how good it would feel, perhaps I should give it a go as well!

Shot some on my Zorki 4 with J8, so had no click stops. All worked very well, low light shots on Sensia 400. Small apertures on the J8 may present problems as there isn't much movement between stops, so easier to get wrong.

I've put Sensia 200 through my Zorki 1 and currently have a roll in a FED 2. The results from the Zorki were excellent. Neither of these cameras has click-stops mind you. I tend to put slide film through any new-to-me camera as a check on accuracy. So far, so good
