Anyone know much about this lens? I picked it up as part of a kit and am unsure what to make of it. Has a rather nice bokeh to it but can't seem to find much about it online. Just rare or just crap?

Do you like the images you make with it, yes or no? If yes then it's a great lens and it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

what?
I have one for about 2 months now and pretty much have dedicated my xe1 body to it. Love using it. Love the pictures.
Bought it here at a very nice price too (thank you, Robert).

Ciao Dave and thanks! Here’s an image or two from when I owned the 23/1.7.
Shot with an X-E1, iso 800. It’s a cine lens, no click stops, and if you’re very particular about which direction you like your focus and stop down to go, it may not be the lens for you. I liked how well damped it is, and its super close focus.

Another at iso 6400 in a library. It was nice to have an X-mount MF lens and focus the old fashioned way, but I left Fuji for Sony and so passed along the 23 to Dave.
