Small amateur review of M8 with pictures

I wouldn't consider it a review because the text is very short. But I like the pictures very much.
What lens did you use for #594 (the picture with the seagull)?

Maybe I should have called it a user experience or something like that. English is not my mother tongue so I apologize if I was misleading.

All pictures are taken with Voigtländer Nokton 40mm F/1.4.
 
I was a 5D user too and used the m8 on loan and finally bit the bullet and bought my friend's used unit.

I totally agree with your assessment. It's built extremely well, it could be improved further but non 'show-stoppers' as such and even iso1250 is usable.

But for me, you buy the m8 because you want a rangefinder. A rangefinder is about a small / discrete shooter that, at least for me anyhow, slows me down and makes me think of my shot a lot more.

I could not and do find the 'new' price too much. But used, I decided it is a tool that helps me make beautiful photos - and that's what counts at the end of the day.

5Dmk2 is no longer on my radar as I've now committed to the M system.
