Small Case Recommendations

I am hoping to get a nice M8 Christmas (tried getting one before Christmas but had to send it back to Adoroma with the pixel line problem) I wanted to add some accessories to my Christmas list. One of the items I would like to get is a small case that could fit the M8 but also be used inside a messenger bag.

I plan on carrying the M8 every day in my messenger back with my laptop and want a case to put it in that is just big enough to hold the camera with a Zeiss 35C mounted on it. It doesnt need to be beautiful but just functional because it will be placed inside another bag 100% of the time. I was hoping it would cost no more than $100.

Alnother alternative could be a laptop/camera bag combo. I currently use a Temba insert in my messenger bag which is great when I use the bag as a camera bag - nice and stealth. However, I cant fit my 17" work lap top and the camera insert in the same bag at the same time, and the insert has room for my current MFT setup (Pany G1 with 20mm, 14-45, and two legacy Canon lenses 28 & 50mm) and I dont need all that space for an M8 + 1 lens.

Any help would be great.

I wonder if this would work ok... Domke protective wrap. I could wrap the camera with lens attached and just place in my bag. In addition to this I might use one of the foam inserts I have to line the bottom of the bag.

Has anyone used one of these? If so which size did you buy?

The Leica Neoprene case is cheap and effective. Just what you need. There are two - long nose and short nose.

Yup, I use the 15" Domke wrap to carry a ZI & lens in my bags. The padding is a bit light, so a foam pad on the bottom of a messenger bag is a good idea. My other dislike is that the velcro hook patches pull up and fray the edge stitching, but that's just how it is.

YES that is exactly what I was looking for. I thought they only made the expensive leather one.

It will even take a spare battery and a couple of SD cards in the back flap - extremely practical.
