Small items in Classifieds for free?

It would be very useful to have a section in the classifieds for small stuff. Stuff that should cost - say - up to around US 10. I have some filters without use that could be very useful for someone else. To pay $2 for a filter that should cost only about $5 is getting rediculous.

Stuff like my chrome original 50's Voigtlander skylight filter, 40,5mm screw. Code 325/41 AR for the very knowledgeable ones.

Maybe you could set up a bulk sale with multiple items and accept purchases of only single items?

True, true. But what is does not necessarily have to stay like it is.

Take the filter. Not useful to me, value little enough not to post a classified. But others are looking for it, I'm sure.

So the way it is now, cheap items will not find a new home via the classifieds.

Why not put them on cameragas? It's totally free until 15 July.

I have a feeling that cameragas is going to get quite big in a short time, such is the disillusioment with flebay.

The hood is at CameraGas. I just moved it to the new 'hoods' section, created at my request.
However, I doubt wether CameraGas will have a lot of impact. Most ads are by Cameraquest or Tony Rose ea.

So now I just added a few small items in my signature. Hope the mods don't mind. I will not make the sig into a store, promise!

Give cameragas some time. I think it will take off. I remember the early days of RFF. When I set up RFF I never thought it would become what it has.

Here is something cool about cameragas.

All auctiion are submitted for publication in google base which eventually will get tremendous exposure. So if you list an item in CG be assured it will be searchable by google in a VERY short time.
