Small printer for Black and White

Hello,
I'm looking for relatively small printer that will do 8x10 inch black and white prints from scanned negatives with decent quality.

I have an older HP photosmart, but the output in black and white is really bad.

Thank you for any input that you may have.

Oh yeah, I forgot to ask about the MIS inkset. So, when I buy it and install it, I'm only able to print black and white, right?
If I wanted to print color, will I need to pull out the MIS inks and put in the original Epson ones that came with the printer?

I'm personally only going to do the B&W, but I have a feeling my lady will want to print her color work 🙂

If she were my missus, I'd tell her to get her own printer for colour 😛
I don't want to think of how much of a hassle it would be to switch cartridges around. What a mess!
As for the bulk or cartridge option, my ink is fed from bottles (bulk) using a Continuous feed. If you can swing the $$$, this method (obviously) gets my vote- I can only imagine how many prints I will get before needing a refill! 😀
