Well-known
Some while ago , i bought a CV 35mm f 2.5 colour scopar to use on my M8 .
[ mostly , I still love the feel of my Summitar / Elmar , and I 22 / I 50 ]
But i had not used it on my ' 33 Leica II .... or , if you want to get picky about slow speeds , my CLA '47 Leica IIIc
I am still blown away that a camera which saw light of day in the very beginning of the 35mm revolution , can create slides the equal [ if different ] of my non metered [ with same exposure meter to level the comparison ] Minolta SRs 35mm f 1.8 Rkkor ... and so much more evocative to use .
... and I know that my modest Fed 1 g '' black Leica '' will perfrorm equally ... yes , I know , another forum - but my twin Feds ahve been ''Leica-ised and Nickelised to match my twin balck II s - so they are family !

It all seems a bit mind blowing sometimes - what price real progress ?
