Occasionally ... I can begrudgingly understand why some of the Leica lenses have the reputation and mystique they seem to possess!

For some unknown reason I decided to drag my early model 90mm Summicron out of the cupboard yesterday along with my ZI and take a few shots with this combo ... it's a damned heavy lens so perhaps I just felt I needed the exercise! 😀

Bokeh (that word sorry) to die for and decently sharp at f2. I'd convinced myself recently that my 85mm f2 Zuiko was more than a match for it but realistically ... nahhhh! 😛

I kept thinking about selling mine many times. As many of us do before selling the gear, I took it out for the last short and after I did that, I became the in-decisive person. 🙁

I agree about the bokeh (I was told that word is a homonym for "stupid" in Japanese). Bokeh has never been very important to me, but I noticed it was nice with this lens.
