Anyone using a alternative hood on their snapshot-skopar 25/4?
To clarify, im talking about the un-coupled v1 lens in screwmount.
I did have an LH-1 at one point, looked very nice on my 25/4P, but ive long sold that lens and hood. Ive tried to find out if the LH-1 would fit the snapshot, but so far have drawn a blank. Im going to assume that it does not.
Anyone?

No one? Not much activity in this sub-forum is there?

I believe the LH-1 does fit the 25/4P but I don't know first hand, but the head bartender indicates it does here.

I have the LTM 21/4 and the LH-2 for the 35/2.5C and the 50/2.5 fits even though the shape isn't appropriate for the focal length. Thus, I suspect CV lenses that come with the small, ring hoods all have the same thread as I can interchange the ring hood from any of my three CV lenses even though they are marked differently.
FWIW, the hood thread is the same even on my 90/3.5 which means I can make the lens more compact when I steal a ring hood from one of my other CV lenses even though it comes with its own hood which is substantially deeper.
The bayonet hoods also interchange somewhat. For instance, the LH-6 hood for the 35/1.4 and 40/1.4 can also fit on the Zeiss ZM 35/2 or the ZM 50/2.

The Lh-1 is made for the 21P and 25P, although I'm reading there may be enough difference with the older snapshot lens, they possibly are not compatible.
Although, I can imagine any of the Leitz 39mm snap on hoods would fit nicely.
