Last night, my son Mack was messing with Sneaky's cat tree. Sneaky ran up there to confront him; and I snapped this photo of Sneaky looking mad. He gets very territorial about HIS cat tree and will bite if we touch it!

Cats and cat trees are strange. Typically the cat will ignore it for a long time, not climb onto it, and then the next day they own it.

That is exactly how Sneaky was with his. First few months we had it, he REFUSED to get on it. Then suddenly he started using it AND getting nasty if anyone touched it!

I'm sure that Sneaky would agree that "'Feed Me' stool" sounds rather vulgar and common. Going forward, it should be "The Throne of Repast".

He has two other thrones; his indoor cat tree in the living room and his outdoor cat tree (my car). A king can never have too many thrones, though!

Very rough.

He got annoyed that I took a picture of him licking his lips and gave me this look!

The Emperor must always be presented in a favorable and dignified manner.
Does Sneaky eat hamburger (ground round)? I love hamburger, but find any type of steak inedible.

I noticed he has food left over. Glad to see he saves for the future.

He doesn't save the good stuff. There have been a couple times where I have grilled him two chicken tenders, way more than he should have been able to eat at once, and he cleaned the plate! He almost never does that with his cat food, and there is less food in a can than there is in two chicken tenders.

Tonight, my dad brought over a big ziplock bag full of CATNIP for Sneaky. I opened the bag, and my furry little junkie got so excited that he stuck his head in the bag and grabbed a mouthful! My dad snapped this photo with his phone.

That’s quite a stash. The catnip cartels must be making billions.

And that's just the profit from MY cat!

Now that it is getting warmer outside, Sneaky likes to stay out late catting around. Then he comes in and sleeps all morning in the top of his cat tree in the living room.

Sounds a bit like my college years. Sneaky's a real party animal!

So you spent your nights wandering the neighborhood peeing on things and fighting with the other guys in the neighborhood? LOL That's basically what Sneaky does!

He didn't like me disturbing his sleep by taking pictures

I might have; my memory of that time is a bit foggy. It was the Seventies. In Baltimore. Need I say more?

Yesterday evening, Sneaky insisted on going out in the rain. He came back in soaked! He didn't like that I was trying to photograph him instead of drying him immediately, so he refused to stop walking around on the counter. My son pulled out the bag of catnip and that transfixed Sneaky long enough to get a picture of my wet kitty!
