This 3mp digicam has an EVF and long zoom (35-420 equiv.) lens.

For this set, used A mode at F4, letting the camera pick shutter speed (generally pretty fast as we had sunlight), ISO 80, varying EV of -2/3 to + 2/3.

Nice shots, Ted. I was looking for the spelunking shots! :) I was playing with my digilux 2 the other day. It has an evf and a GREAT 28-90 lens. It's wonderful for 100 ASA shots and a very nice portrait lens.

Thanks Ray!

Thanks Ray!

Yes, the downside of my early Lumix is mainly that the ISO at 200 or above really shows (esp. if peeping), but I figure that's why they put the 80 setting on there, this one has a super tiny sensor as well (1/2.5") or so, but still makes nice 8x10s at low ISO's. some purple fringe and distortion at zoom extremes, but I love the long zoom for wildlife, zoo, and ball games.

Hope to catch up with you at the next gathering. Here are some P&S shots from a Canon A550 in vivid mode, a pretty good camera for the kids I've found: here
